A big enthusiastic thumbs up for this - I was a subscriber last season and these broadcasts are a genuine treasure. To my great chagrin I just couldn't
renew this season, price is too steep and I am actually nursing my budget in order to be able to physically go to the Philharmonie on December to catch a
concerto then. But these are great,

dunno yet K - I'll be in Germany for most late Dec and early Jan and it's an easy 4 hour train ride from where I am staying. I was originally thinking
of Dec 19/20 but they'll be doing the Brahms Requiem and this is the thing: if it was me alone no prob. But I'm going with my dad, and I don't know
if I want to listen to the Requiem with him, we lost my mom 8 years ago and in each our own way it's still a wound on both of us and I may want to stay
clear of such powerful music with him. Other possibility for us is Dec 29th - Lang Lang (ugh) playing Rachmaninov's 2nd (ugh again - ok, great piece, I
love it but I've already listened to it too many times). OTOH it's not every day we have these opportunities. Decisions decisions....

Josephine, The concert was broadcast on Monday (Nov. 9) evening and registration was done through the Deutsche Bank website, so with the date having passed,
they removed the concert info and registration option. Sorry you missed it. I posted the moment I heard about it and will be keeping my eye out for future
concerts.
