Sneaking in watching a video or two between other tasks. Just watched numbers 4 and 5. I enjoyed 4 more than 1-3, and 5 more than all of them, thus far, both
the composition and the performance. Double-stops are good, and you seem to be letting the music go much more (sustaining the line, following the contour of
the phrase) than in the earlier vids. Well done.
Some Bach influence in #5, btw? -Mark |

3,4,5,9,10 are my favorites. 1 and 2 were me getting the composing motor running after rusting for the last decade. 11 is the sound-track I wrote for a
client's marketing video, so its content and structure are influenced by timing needs of the video itself. #3 was written over 10 years ago, for my wife
and her dad, who were a beginner cellist and pianist at the time.
Making these videos was very difficult. Most of the pieces are very tricky and I found myself focusing on playing in tune almost more than anything else, given that they are straight run-throughs with no edits. Of course, playing in tune is like a whack-a-mole game for those of us who don't have time to practice. The music suffers a bit from this degree of technical focus, but we mortals must pick our battles. Yes, I cower in the infinitely deep shadow of Bach. Tim
