I prefer my chair to be higher, more like middle or upper end of the patella, but it also has to be tilted somewhat so that the back of the chair is higher. I feel this gives my back a break and helps avoid Problems with Stagnation of the bloodflow. I always carry two block of Wood around when playing sitting on chairs I don't know, that I can place under the rear two legs of the chair. It works much better than those wedge shaped cushions some People use.
