Haha Mzzie! I did the same with my first teacher and was able to keep him going for 9 years! I intend to do the same with my new teacher on my first anniversary and can hopefully keep him for awhile, though I don't argue. I will ask a question if I need clarification, as diplomatically as possible.Wink I started working on scales, for the first time ever, with my new teacher and I love it! I'm doing 3 octaves so far. I recently started on my first minor scale, D minor, and have shared a couple of videos below regarding scales that I had found interesting, one on the three types of minor scales and why/when they are used, and another on scales in general. My teacher has me going up in the melodic minor and down in the natural minor.
