When you mess up during a song.....

Ok, let's say you're playing a song. Things are going fine. Then suddenly you totally screw up your shift from that (?) to (?)!!!!!!!!! GASP!!!!
How do you react to stuff like this??

A lot has been said on this subject, but I've always wondered if the strong feelings expressed on either side were those of a majority or just a vocal minority. I believe there are others like me who find post-Babini cello chat much less informative and entertaining and not really any more cello related, but I'm sure there are others who probably find it a great relief. I honestly don't even know if he could be convinced to come back, but I certainly wouldn't even try unless I knew that was...

When there is an obvious (to your ear) discrepancy and lack of ensemble between the cello section and other sections in the orchestra, but the conductor seems oblivious -- do you go with a principal player who hears and corrects in the hope that the conductor will accommodate or do you go with the conductor?

Bach with vibrato?

My teacher instructs me to avoid any vibrato while playing Bach suites, although I do sneak in a little here and there for resonance or tone adjustment purposes. Now, naturally no Bach lends itself to vibrato like the Dvorak concerto, but this doesn't stop people playing a moderate vibrato throughout almost the entirety of a suite sometimes. There is so much variation, I was just wondering as to how many people do what.

In general, how much vibrato do you use when playing Bach suites?
