			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve been working on it for a while and it doesn&#39;t seem to improve--it&#39;s too fast, too tight, too uneven, and too out of control!  I&#39;ve worked
with a metronome but I can&#39;t seem to break through.  I&#39;m just wondering if there was one thing that got you over the hump from that nervous amateurish

			<title><![CDATA[ Symphony programming ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ When I moved to Sarasota over 10 years ago, part of the attraction was their dedication to the arts.  However I was dismayed to find that at symphony
performances, I was one of the youngest in the audience and I was then around 50.  The sea of silver heads in the audience was discouraging.  What was worse,
were the distracting shrieks from their hearing aids, their loud stage whispers when they chatted during a performance, snuffling, grunting, etc.  Where were
the young people?

			<title><![CDATA[ Tension and Relaxation ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Right now I am focused on reducing tension in my thumbs, especially my right thumb. However, I find that as soon as I relax one part, I discover increased
tension in another, such as my shoulder. It is so challenging to detect and reduce tension. My teacher tells me that this is a typical challenge for beginners
but I&#39;m just wondering what others have experienced and also would love to know ways in which others have been able to reduce tension, before, during and
after practicing.

bowing. I&#39;m not typically interested in physics but this info is basic enough to help provide someone like me with a better understanding of how the bow

			<description><![CDATA[ My current teacher tells me lots of things about musical phrasing in the piece I&#39;m working on. It frustrates me because I can&#39;t physically manage the
things I need to do to make it sound the way he describes. One case, just to illustrate what I mean, there&#39;s a four note phrase with two notes on A string
in third position, then shift to fourth position on D string for two notes. When I play it there&#39;s an obvious break (a time lag) when I do the string
